Sunday 11th 'Collaborate' Final Day

Our final day brought together many of the elements touched upon over the 3 days. We spent time processing and discussing some of the recurring themes coming to the surface for all of us. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of the reserve and spent time 'drawing' in Waterfront Hide. There was lots of experimentation and play demonstrating how much we can learn from each others working process.  It is most interesting to see the reserve through others eyes.  The 3 days were some of the richest I have had in my practice in some time and the wealth of material generated is almost daunting when i think about how to process it all!  The insights into my practice by the other artists are both valuable and exciting and there are many lessons to be learnt and carried forward.

Sincerest thanks to Craigavon Borough Council Arts Development for facilitating 'Collaborate' Oxford Island 2012.
